Bear Creek Treehouse
Hidden just behind the studio in the natural beauty of the Northwest is the Bear Creek Treehouse, featured on Season 2 of Animal Planet’s show Treehouse Masters. Built by Nelson Treehouse, the structure sits 18 feet off the ground in a grove of western red cedars. The small cabin-like studio is perfect for writing, editing, or overdubbing. It is equipped with an Avid Pro Tools HD Native Thunderbolt + HD Omni, as well as the same Pro Tools 11 and plugins as the main system in the control room. It is easy to work on editing, comps, and even mixing, then exchange files from system to system. Artists have used the treehouse to record vocals, guitars, cello, violins, and much more. Producers often use both control rooms during projects. The 2nd level has 2 twin beds. For those who are sensitive to the spirits of the forest, the forces are strong and magical and contribute to the creative process.
